Day 1: Arrival and ushering from Airport to Kandy

You will be welcomed and picked by our representative at the arrival gate of Colombo airport. We will be carrying paging for your name. So you will not find it difficult to identity. Start the journey to Kandy.

Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Your first destination in the city will be the Temple of the Tooth. The Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha has had much importance throughout the history of Sri Lanka. Considered as the most important Buddhist temple in the world. But not restricted only for Buddhists. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Lord Buddha.

Ramboda Falls is 109 m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. The altitude of the falls is 945 m above sea level.

The park was formally named in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. The park was established with the planting of its first tree, an Oak, by a visiting German Princess. The Nanu Oya River runs through the park, creating a number of small lakes. A number of rare bird species can be found in the park.
