Itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up – Mahiyanganaya
Stop At: Mahiyangana, Mahiyangana, Uva Province
06:30 You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Mahiyanganaya.
On arrival at Mahiyanganaya, you will check in to Keven’s Casa hotel.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Dambana Wedi Gammanaya, Dambana Road, Sri Lanka
You will be taken to DAMBANA, the remote jungle village of indigenous people. The population of these indigenous ‘Veddha’ people now consists of only about 350 families, a number significantly reduced from a once thriving community. The ‘Veddha’ are so influenced by the imposing dominant culture that they risk losing their traditions and what has been their livelihood for centuries. Visitors to this fascinating village have the opportunity to meet and chat with the people who live there, learn about their traditions, and gain a unique insight into their way of life.

Day 2: Mahiyanganaya – Gal Oya
Stop At: Rathna Ella waterfall, Hasalaka, Mahiyangana 90700 Sri Lanka
After breakfast, you will start your waterfall trekking. This will be a wonderful experience through the jungle. Be ready for a swim in a fresh water natural pool.

Arrive back to your hotel for lunch.

Day 3: Gal Oya – Drop Off

04:30 Wake up early and pack your breakfast before leaving for the morning safari by Boat in Gal Oya National Park.
Leave with your guide to do an exciting safari in the National park by boat. Enjoy the only experience in Sri Lanka that allows you to spot wildlife from the water. It’s a unique way to immerse yourself in the animals’ habitats.
Thereon, proceed back to your hotel (the hotel where you were picked up) or next destination (Free Transportation will be provided to Polonnaruwa, Yala, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Habarana)
