Giragama Tea Factory is one of the oldest in Sri Lanka. The eponymous English “cuppa” might have been somewhat stronger if not for the 1865 coffee blight. Learn how tea is made – from freshly picked green leaves to being sorted, withered, fermented, dried and ground up. And learn the varieties and their differences in taste.
