This kingdom capitals of medieval ruled by the king Buwanekabahu in 1272. We’ll show you the Archaeological/Technological presence of historical times. It’ll interesting to know how rulers of 13th century kept the country safe from interventions. There’re many traces of ancient battle defenses can be seen while the Ornamental stairway is it’s biggest showpiece. On the top remains of a Stupa/Bodhi tree enclosure/Cave used by Buddhist monks confirming that the site was a Buddhist monastery. It’s one of the safe houses where the sacred tooth relic (currently kept in Kandy) is saved.
