Stop At: Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka
You’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Wilpattu National Park for an evening safari experience. The park is situated in the dry zone, and is unlike any other wildlife sanctuary in Sri Lanka. The unique feature of this park is the existence of “Willus” – Natural, sand-rimmed water basins or depressions that fill with rainwater. Wilpattu National Park is the oldest and the best location to spot for Leopards, Sloth Bears, Birds and various of wildlife sightings in Sri Lanka. Therefore a safari in Wilpattu is a must if you’re touring in Sri Lanka.
