The best way to experience the park’s wonder is to go out on a private jeep safari tour with a guide which will take you the main wildlife areas. This safari tour is the best if you want to watch elephants, it is also the only national park where elephant sighting is guaranteed. The lush greenery and the water bodies makes a vital part in sustaining the wildlife in Udawalewe National Park. Although elephants become the main attraction there are other flora and fauna which can only be found in this area. There can also be rare sightings of Leopards in this park.
