Day 1: Colombo – Sigiriya
Stop At: Kalawewa National Park, Kekirawa Sri Lanka
Visit Kalawewa – water reservoir built 300 B. C.

Stop At: Pidurangala Rock, Pidurangala,Sigiriya, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
Climb Pidurangala rock – where you have an spectacular view of the famous fortress of Sigiriya
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Nishantha Wood Carvings, No. 3/26th Post, Hathamuna Rd North Central, Polonnaruwa 51000 Sri Lanka
Visit a real wood-carving-place and watch peaceful Lori monkeys at Sigiriya at night time

Visit Sigiriya Rock and observe the Frescos and Fortress- best time is 7. 30AM

Stop At: Minneriya National Park, Maradankadawala-Habarana-Thirukkondaiadimadu Highway, 50150 Sri Lanka
Safari at Minneriya or Kawdulla Nationalpark to see real wild elephants. After that enjoy real srilankan village-life – see how srilankan people live at rural places, how they cook or plant and protect their plants against elephants and travel with a real cow-cart

Day 3: Sigiriya
Stop At: Avukana Buddha Statue | අවුකන බුද්ධ ප්රතිමාව, Kalawewa-Avukana Rd, Avukana, Sri Lanka
Enjoy an ayurvedic treatment – to relax body and soul in the morning and see the impressing Aukana Buddha statue later – more than 12 meters tall and carved out of a large granite rock during the 5th century

Stop At: Polonnaruwa Vatadage, Sacred City, Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka
Visit Polonnaruwa ancient ruins – one of the ceylonese capital cities, surrounded by a fertile landscape. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage Site. See Parakrama lake near Polonnaruwa – it is is a shallow reservoir, consisting of five separate reservoirs. The entrance is not included.

Day 4: Sigiriya – Kandy
Stop At: Dambulla Cave Temple, Jaffna Hwy, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
Visit a spice and herbal garden in the morning and see later Dambulla cave temples – UNESCO world heritage since 1991

Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Drive to Kandy and see the famous Kandian Dancing in the afternoon. Visit the Kandy Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa Temple) – which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha in a wide complex of the royal palace of the former kingdom of Kandy

Day 5: Kandy – Colombo

Visit Bhairava Kandy Temple – these sculptures are believed to protect against greed, lust and anger in Hinduism and have a walk around the old town. Entrance is not included.

Stop At: Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya Road, Peradeniya 20400 Sri Lanka
Enjoy over 4.000 species of plants at Peradeniya Botanical Garden near Kandy – including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. If you like, we visit a tea plantation and factory – the biggest and most famous companies settle around Kandy. Drop to Colombo airport or your booked hotel
