Hikkaduwa Trip Overview
This is the best thing you can do on your last day. We combine transport to the airport with a quality time. We pick you up at your hotel,and,take,you,to Colombo. Once we arrived in Colombo, we take the Paddleboards and explore the ancient Dutch canal, that was build more than 200 years ago to transport cinnamon to the Harbour. You paddle 4-6 kilometers in the footsteps of history.
Once we reached the lagoon, it is just another 2 kilometers until we arrive at the lagoon hotel. A very cosy and nice place we immediately fell in love with, when we came there for the first time. It is the owners family and the staff, that makes this place magic. Not to mention the perfect pool directly at the lagoon.
On the next day it depends on your timetable. If your flight goes in the evening, you can enjoy your time at the hotel, visit the fish market or go shopping in negombo. Three hours before for flight goes we will bring you to the airport.

Itinerary
Day 1: Make the last day the best day of you vacation
Pass By: Dodanduwa, Dodanduwa, Galle District, Southern Province
Pick-up from your Location and transport to Dodanduwa.
Just tell us your place, and we will come there at the agreed time. We’re based near Hikkaduwa (Dodanduwa), but we pick you up from Bentota to Mirissa. For the longer distance we add a small fee.

Meet at SUP Sri Lanka
If we have a few people on this tour from different locations, we will all meet at our Homebase “CIRCUS Lagoon Hideaway”.
We will load the Van with the according number ob Boards and head on to Colombo.

Transport to Colombo
We take the highway to Colombo to reach our next goal very fast: The Entrance Point to the ancient Dutch Canal. It leads from Colombo harbor to Negombo lagoon, but we just take 4-6 Kilometers on this canal.

Paddling to the lagoon
The Boards are prepared, we give you a short instruction, and the tour starts. Down the Canal direction Negombo Lagoon we go.

Negombo Lagoon
At the end of the Canal we will enter the Lagoon. It is huge, but no worries, your guide will know the way.

Our Hotel for the night
Our hotel of choice is directly at the lagoon and the pool has a stunning view over the lagoon. Feel free to have a drink at the pool or explore the lagoon a little more. The Restaurant serves food of excellent quality to a fair price, so you can have dinner there or go to another local restaurant like the Tuna Hut close by.

Day 2: Your day of departure
Pass By: Negombo Lagoon, Negombo Sri Lanka
Breakfast and Airport
After you had your breakfast, it depends on your timetable. If you need to go to the airport early, we will bring you there directly. If you’re flying late, you can use the pool again, visit the Negombo Fishmarket or go shopping in Negombo. It’s your time. Three hours before your flight, our taxi will bring you from the hotel to the airport.
