Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka

To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. You will visit this wonderful temple followed by an upper lake drive. The Kandy Lake that was built by king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807 is one of the major highlights in the city. The upper lake drive is more scenic and memorable.

Stop At: Geragama Tea Factory, Geragama Estate Rd, Pilimathalawa, Sri Lanka

ea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. Your will spend an hour exploring the plantation and factory. You’ll see the sorting tools, the grinding tools, drying tools, and the packaging machines. You will also be able learn how tea is processed from shiny green leaves to the bits in your tea bag. After enjoying a cup of high grown processed tea, you will set out to explore the plantation to conclude your tour with the tea estate experience.
