Itinerary
Our adventure begins from just north of Negombo. The first half of the ride will be on a mix of dirt and tarmac roads along the coastal fishing communities. During the ride you will observe the busy morning activities along the coast. Fishing boats deliver fresh catch of the day while vendors and buyers flock to get the best of it. fresh and dry fish, fruits and vegetables sold by the roadside. tuk tuks selling bread and pastries roam around with music looking for potential customers.
Being home to a large population of Roman Catholics many beautiful churches and shrines of saints are visible each village.
After riding for 30km along the beach we will turn inland for quiet roads through lush green coconut cultivation and vast rice fields. A ride through these villages wouldn’t be completed without a break for refreshing king coconuts full of electrolytes.
Fresh cold towels and a couple of another refreshment stops will keep you fresh all throughout. A backup vehicle allows the flexibility for you to seek the comfort any time during the ride.
This is a one way ride, upon the completion your driver can pick you up and bring you back to hotel or continue on the trip.
