Itinerary
Day 1: Colombo – Kandy
Stop At: Simpson’s Forest Hotel – Small Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa – Kandy, Meenawatta Estate, Elkaduwa Road, Wattegama, Kandy 20000, Sri Lanka
8:30 You will be picked up from your hotel in selected cities and drive to Kandy.
Arrive at Simson’s forest. Enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan Lunch followed by a cookery demonstration at the Gamagedara which is a lovely outdoor dining area that offers you a traditional Kamatha dining experience in the cool climes of the Hill Country.
You will be taken to a tea plantation where you can enjoy tea plucking with the estate workers.
Arrive to a lovely view point and enjoy the views of the surrounding nature with high tea.
You will start the last phase of your trekking and reach the hotel at 18:30.
Enjoy 15 minutes foot or head and shoulder message at the spa.
Enjoy a Candle lit Dinner by the Pool with a heavenly view of the surrounding plains at night.

Day 2: Kandy – Kitulgala

06:00 Get up early and enjoy the morning sunlight that blends with the mist.
Enjoy a Champagne breakfast.

Stop At: Borderlands, A7, Kitulgala, Sri Lanka
Then proceed to Kithulgala.
Arrive at Kitulgala and start Whitewater Rafting tour with our guide. After a safety briefing and a few pointers on rafting technique, we’ll jump right into the action.
Enjoy Lunch at Borderlands Campsite and spend couple of hours at leisure before starting your hiking experience.

Stop At: Makandawa Forest Reserve, Yatiyantota D.S, Kithulgala South GS division, Kitulgala Sri Lanka
Hike through the local forests surrounding Kithulgala, passing friendly, smiling villagers.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Borderlands, A7, Kitulgala, Sri Lanka
Enjoy Dinner in the main restaurant at the campsite.

Day 3: Kitulgala – Belihuloya
Stop At: TreeHouse Chalets – Belihuloya, Pragathi Pre School Road, Halpe, Belihuloya, Sri Lanka
09:00 After breakfast, you will be driven to Belihuloya. 12:00 Arrive at Tree House Chalets and check in for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy the surrounding of the hotel and spend couple of hours at leisure. 15:00 You will start your walking trail in the village of Belihuloya with your guide. You will walk through beautiful paddy fields and the friendly welcoming breeze that blow through. (Unpaved muddy path and possible leech bites can be expected). Meet the villagers here, peep into their lives and learn their living style and also you can have a chat with them enjoying a snack. Don’t forget to take pictures of the beautiful scenery! 18:00 Arrive back at your hotel refresh with worm water shower before enjoying your BBQ dinner at an outside location. Spend the overnight at Tree House Chalets.

Day 4: Belihuloya – Colombo
Stop At: TreeHouse Chalets – Belihuloya, Pragathi Pre School Road, Halpe, Belihuloya, Sri Lanka
06:00 Wake-up early in the morning and experience the sunshine over the mountains whilst discovering the wonder of nature surrounded by the hotel. 07:30 Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant. 09:00 Your guide will take you through another memorable walking trail to a waterfall in the property premises. Tranquil dip in this natural rock pool. No harsh chemicals, just you, pure mountain water and natural stone. This is a marvelous creation of nature! (Involves a somewhat adventurous, challenging short climb walks) 11:30 Arrive back at the hotel and get refreshed before leaving back to your drop off location.
