Day 01 | Arrival – Elephant Orphanage – Spice Garden – Cultural Dance – Kandy

Ayubowan !! Welcome to Sri Lanka. You will meet by representatives of Real Lanka at the airport and from there you will be transferred to a hotel in Kandy which will take approx. 3 hours of drive. On our way to Kandy we will stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphange. The orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. Now its home to more than sixty elephants. After that we will stop for lunch at the spice garden. Then we will check-in to the hotel. After couple of hours of rest you can witness the cultural dance show in Kandy. We will return back to our hotel and dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 02 | Kandy City tour – Tooth Of Relic Temple – Tea Factory – Waterfall – Transfer to Nuwara Eliya

After the breakfast you can enjoy city tour of Kandy with a chance to visit the Tooth Of Relic temple in Kandy, the most sacred place for Buddhist in Sri Lanka. On our drive to Nuwara Eliya, our first stop can be Bhaktha Hanuman temple in the Ramboda. After this we will witness the famous Ramboda waterfall and sub waterfalls nearby. You can have lunch with the view of the waterfall. In the evening visit the tea factory where you will gain insight into the manufacturing process as well as an opportunity to taste and purchase the different grades of Ceylon Tea. We end our day in the hotel at Nuwara Eliya.

Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic: Ever since the 4th century AD, when the Buddha’s tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacreligious hands in an Orissan princess’s hair, the relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka’s most prized possesion.

Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple: It was believed that Sri Hanumanji set his feet in these holly hills when he was in search of Sitaji. An 18 ft statue of Lord Hanuman towers at the entrance of this kovil which is situated in the beautiful Nuwara Eliya.

Kandy: The cultural capital of Sri Lanka, a world heritage site sits pretty in a valley surrounded by rings of mountains. Right in the heart of the city center of Kandy is the man-made lake called Kiri Muhuda (Sinhala: the sea of milk), the one and only decorative lake in Sri Lanka. Kandy is most famous for the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa). This beautiful city is gifted with scores of attractions that include Royal Botanical Gardens, Kandy Lake, Bahirawakanda temple for spiritual seekers, Udawattekele Sanctuary, Ceylon Tea Museum – a paradise for tea lovers, Wales Park – for a peaceful walk and many more.

Day 03 | Nuwara Eliya City Tour – Seetha Amman Temple – Gregory Lake and Park – Hakgala Botanical Garden

Nuwara Eliya, the land of lush tea plantation, majestic peaks and rishing waterfalls. Seetha Amman temple can be visited en route to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, this prominent temple architecture will not fail to attract your attention. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen on one side of the temple. The temple today is a modern building with its paintings, statues and pillars decorated with sculptures; all depicting the tale of Rama and Sita.

Nuwara Eliya: Nicknamed as “Little England” it is one of coldest city in the country. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence including red telephone boxes and well-tendered hedgerows. The town’s high altitude affords visitors breath-taking vistas over the valleys, grasslands and mountains. Many tourists come through the town on their way to hike up incredible peaks such as Adam’s Peak. You will also see lush vegetation and impressive waterfalls. Nuwara Eliya is also one of the biggest tea plantations areas on the island.

Day 04 | Nuwara Eliya to Bentota – Water sport – St.Claire and Devon Waterfalls

Proceed to Bentota. Enroute witness St Claire and Devon waterfalls. Optional Kitulgala White water rafting. Continue to Bentota and enjoy its breathtaking sandy beach pretty much transform your dreams and visions of a tropical paradise into an everyday reality. This secluded crescent shaped beach is the perfect place to sit back and relax.Overnight stay at hotel in Bentota

Day 05 | Sea Turtle Conservation Center – Madu Ganga River Safari – Galle Fort Walking tour and Sunset

After the breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey to more southern site of the country the city of Galle. Our first stop will be Sea Turtle Conservation Center. Then you can try the most famous Madu Ganga river safari in Balapitiya. Boat ride will take around two hours. Madu river is relatively unspoiled lagoon, the Maduganga estuary is a 915-hectare complex coastal wetland ecosystem that opens to the Indian Ocean. We take the lunch and proceed to Galle fort where we will undertake the Galle fort walking tour. You can enjoy the sunset at Galle fort. The day will end after transfer to hotel in Bentota.

Day 06 | Colombo – Departure

Proceed to Colombo and then transfer to the airport for your departure flight back.

Colombo: A drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined resident Cinnamon Gardens. Things to do in Colombo take a city tour, visit Gangaramaya temple, admire the Red Mosque, take in the genuine vibe of Pettah Market Colombo, relax at Mount Lavinia beach, take a walk on Galle Face Green, walk around Viharamahadevi Park, be mesmerized by the colorful Sri Kailawasanathan temple, visit the Independence Memorial Hall, Colombo National Museum or go up the Lotus Tower.
