Day 1: Dambulla & Seegiriya – A visit to ancient Sri Lanka

Stop At: Dambulla Cave Temple, Jaffna Hwy, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
The stunning Royal Rock Temple complex is located in the southern side of Dambulla, around 160 meters above the road. About 150 incredibly exquisite Buddha sculptures and paintings, some of Sri Lanka’s most important and evocative religious art, are housed in five distinct caverns. Over 2000 years ago, Buddha statues were initially made here, and following kings added to and enriched the cave art over the decades. The caves offer spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, with Sigiriya visible from a distance of 20 kilometers.

The enigmatic rocky outcrop of Sigiriya, rising sharply from the middle plains, is undoubtedly Sri Lanka’s most spectacular sight. Near-vertical walls ascend to a flat-topped summit with the ruins of an old civilization, which are said to have been been the epicenter of the short-lived kingdom of King Kassapa, and early morning vistas across mist-wrapped woodlands are fascinating. The Castle of the the king was on top of the rock . Journey to the summit of the rock will be something you never forget .

Day 2: Kandy

Stop At: Kandy, Kandy, Kandy District, Central Province
Kandy’s skies are wounded on some days, with persistent mist clinging to the hills surrounding the city’s lovely centerpiece lake. The mist is softly parted by gentle hill-country breezes, revealing colorful buildings amid Kandy’s strange woodland halo. Three-wheelers careen around slick bends in the town center, creating a soft mist that threatens the silk saris worn by local ladies. Even when it’s pouring, this city looks great.

Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka’s most treasured Buddhist relic – a tooth of the Buddha – is housed at the golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth. The strongly guarded room housing the tooth is exposed to worshippers and tourists during puja (offerings or prayers). The teeth, on the other hand, is not visible. It’s stored in a gold dagoba (stupa) coffin, which is part of a series of six dagoba caskets of varying sizes.

The complex features a number of minor temples, shrines, and museums in addition to the famed main temple.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya – The Little England of Sri Lanka

Stop At: Horton Plains National Park, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
Horton Plains is a stunning, desolate landscape with excellent hiking opportunities in the shadows of Sri Lanka’s second and third highest mountains, Kirigalpotta (2395m) and Totapola (2395m), respectively (2357m). The ‘plains’ are a 2000m-high undulating plateau covered in untamed grasslands and dotted with thick forest areas, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls, and foggy lakes. The landscape’s startling diversity is mirrored by the enormous range of species, albeit many of the larger creatures are difficult to spot. Birdwatchers will be rewarded handsomely.

At World’s End, a dramatic precipice that plunges 880m, the plateau abruptly ends. Seeing Sun rise from this location will be absolute memorable occasion.

Day 4: Ella – Famous Train tour from Kandy to Ella

Stop At: Ella, Ella, Uva Province
From Nuwara Eliya, we will pick you to take you to Ohiya. There you can get on the train and start the train tour to Ella. This is one of the most famous train tours in the world. From Ella, we will pick u and take you to your hotel.
After tiresome traveling in Sri Lanka, it’s time to relax between the misty mountain ranges of Ella. During the season this place is filled with tourists. Here you can enjoy, relax and get to know fellow travelers and have a drink with them.

Stop At: Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Sri Lanka
The Nine Arch Bridge, built by the British in 1921, stands proudly as a tribute to the engineering and architectural excellence of the early twentieth century. The bridge is conveniently located between the Ella and Demodara railway stations, and those who choose to stroll over it will be rewarded with views of rolling hills and deep jungle.
When building the Badulla – Colombo railway, the Nine Arch Bridge, popularly known as the ‘Bridge in the Sky,’ was built by linking two bog mountains. This bridge has a length of 300 feet, a width of 25 feet, and a height of 80-100 feet. It is one among the country’s outstanding instances of colonial-era railway building. Starting from Halpe Textile Centre on Badulla Bandarawela road, proceed 2 kilometers on Gotuwala road to reach the bridge. Due to the bridge’s architectural brilliance and the abundant vegetation on the adjoining hillsides, tourism in the surrounding area has steadily increased.

Day 5: Yala national park

From Ella, we will pick you and take you to our next destination. Here you will be able to do a safari in Yala National Park. Here you have two options, either you can go for a full day safari or a half-day safari. if you are a wildlife enthusiast here you will be able to watch 95% of mammals in Sri Lanka. Leopard and Sloth bear is really hard to see in other parts of Sri Lanka. But here can surely see those animals.

Day 6: South Cost
